Reports help keep everyone safe. Here is how they work.
How to report a listing
Open the listing and choose “Report this listing”. You need to be logged in. Pick a reason (scam, wrong details, offensive, duplicate, other) and add what you know.
What happens next
A person on our team reviews every report; scam reports come first. We may remove the listing and block the account. We do not tell the host who reported them.
Signs of a scam
Being asked for a deposit or rent before a viewing; a price far below similar places; a host who cannot show the place in person or by video; pressure to move the conversation off the site quickly.
If you already paid
Contact your bank or card company straight away, report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and to your local police, and tell us so we can act on the account.
