Cookie Policy

Last updated October 17, 2026

Draft. This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change.

FlexRoom uses a small number of cookies and browser storage, all of them needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

What we store on your device

  • A sign-in cookie, set when you log in, so the site knows it is you. It ends when you log out or after 30 minutes without activity.
  • A language cookie (nest_lang), set when you choose English or French, kept for one year.
  • In your browser’s own storage: the city you picked, whether you closed a notice, and homes you saved before logging in.
  • The check that tells people from robots on the log-in window (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set its own cookie.

Counting visits

We count page views with PostHog, set up to work without cookies: it stores nothing on your device and does not follow you from one day to the next or to other websites. It does not record your screen, your clicks or what you type.

Where you came from

While you browse, your tab remembers for itself the link you arrived by (campaign tags, the website you came from and the first page). It lives only in that tab and disappears when you close it. It is sent to us only if you create an account, and then it is kept with your account details (see the Privacy Policy).

What we don’t do

No advertising cookies and no selling of browsing data. If we add other tools that measure how the site is used, this page will list them before they are switched on, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your control

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Without the sign-in cookie you can still browse listings, but you cannot log in.
